Location: Chalfont, PA (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: 2-3 months (roughly from November 2025 to February 2026)

Overview:

A growing organization located in the Chalfont area is seeking a skilled Temporary Accountant to assist with year-end financial activities during a busy seasonal period. This hands-on role will focus on supporting the accounting team with tax preparation, reporting, and various accounting analyses to ensure accurate and timely financial closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation and filing of 1099 forms.
• Support sales tax reporting and compliance.
• Contribute to income tax preparation and coordination with external tax advisors as needed.
• Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting and account analysis activities.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across general ledger entries.
• Provide general accounting support to ensure deadlines are met and financial processes run smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or small business environment.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience with tax preparation, 1099 processing, and sales tax filings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Availability to work full-time onsite throughout the assignment period (November–January).
