Lakeland University , a liberal arts institution, seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach Sport and Fitness Psychology this fall at the home campus in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

ESS 220: Sport and Fitness Psychology

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a Master's degree in Psychology and appropriate experience in coaching, sports or fitness, or alternately, a relevant graduate degree with at least 18 credits in Psychology and appropriate experience.

The term dates are 8/27 -12/5, and the class is scheduled to meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 1:25 and 2:20.

Essential Functions

  • Teach undergraduate courses in psychology.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
