Gundersen Tri-County is hiring a casual/on-call Ambulance Driver. This is an incredible opportunity to join an emergency response team while working on your Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Responsibilities include inspecting, safely operating, and maintaining an emergency vehicle; responding to emergent and non-emergent requests for emergency medical assistance either in a 911 system or Interfacility Transfer Service, under the guidelines of medical direction; and working a minimum of 24 hours/month (8, 12, or 24-hour shifts). Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa, current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and a valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 1 year of hire. Compensation includes $3.00/hour on-call pay, $35 for local run, and $65 for transport.
