General Summary As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist customers positively, answering questions and resolving concerns. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service. Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices. Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store. Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Contribute to loss prevention efforts. Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. Follow all company policies and procedures. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives. Retail management experience preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet demands of store duties. Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
