Auto Claims Adjuster – Remote Apply for the Auto Claims Adjuster – Remote role at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer . We hire good people for a brighter tomorrow and are committed to progress over perfection. Your Role As an Associate Auto Claims Advisor, your responsibilities include handling non‑injury claims. You will verify and explain coverages, conduct liability investigations, and advise customers of liability decisions. You will set expectations about the claims process, obtain police reports and witness statements, reach out to other adjusters from varying insurance companies, and keep the member informed of the claim status. Time Zones Pacific Mountain Central Your Work Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles auto and property damage claims. Handles a diary system to systematically review and resolve claims within state compliance guidelines. Manages an inventory of claims. Opens claims and acquires required information and loss details from the insured, claimant, and other involved parties. Explains policy, coverage, and appropriate course of action. Documents claim files, sends correspondence, and communicates with customers and repair facilities. Ensures compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and SOPs. Arranges, handles, and pays for repairs, rentals, towing, total losses, and negotiates storage. Applies estimating standards ranging from minor to moderate complexity. Completes 14‑week virtual training that combines classroom and hands‑on job training. Training runs Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm Pacific Time. Training starts on 01/05/2026. Required Experience, Education and Skills High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer‑facing virtual environment using internet, phone, and chat. Capability to train and perform the job remotely, meeting work‑from‑home requirements. May require an adjuster license as required by state. We would be excited about you 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast‑paced setting. Empathy, adaptability, time management, and organization. Property and Casualty industry experience preferred. Flexibility to work any shift during 5:30 am‑7:00 pm PST, including evenings and weekends. Outstanding interpersonal and computer navigation skills. Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Bilingual a plus. Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds. Active participation in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc. Willingness to engage via camera when onboarding new team members. Travel as needed for role, including meetings.
