Land Rover San Diego has opportunities for Automotive Technicians to join their team and the Holman family. The Technician is responsible for conducting routine service on vehicles, diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles, and maintaining up-to-date mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities include knowledge of automotive systems, ability to explain systems and repairs, maintaining current product and technical knowledge, estimating service or repair time, communicating parts requirements, complying with quality control and inspection requirements. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience and/or training, automotive technical experience or technical school program experience, a valid driver's license, good reading, writing and math skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and appropriate technical certifications. Strongly preferred qualifications include Jaguar Land Rover experience and certification, ASE Certifications or equivalent manufacturer training, and degree/training from automotive technical school. Compensation starts at $31/flat rate based on experience and qualifications. Holman offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 based on skill level and relocation assistance, a state-of-the-art dealership, paid mentoring, factory training, assistance in ASE Certification, and the ability to earn a six-figure income.
