The technician is responsible for conducting routine service on vehicles, diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles, and maintaining up-to-date mechanical knowledge. Duties include knowledge of automotive systems, ability to explain systems and repairs, estimating service or repair time, communicating parts requirements, and complying with quality control and inspection requirements. Requirements include ASE Certifications and Porsche, Audi, VW or other highline import experience/certification preferred, high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 1+ years dealer-level or large facility experience, valid driver's license and clean driving record, ability to stay current with technical training, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Compensation starts at $31/flat rate for main shop technicians and $24/hour for apprentice technicians based on experience and qualifications.
