Autonomous Vehicle Test Driver – Safety Operator (Self-Driving Cars) Location: Miami, FL (Local Applicants Only) Pay: $25/hour + shift bonuses Schedule: Full-time | Rolling Contract About the Role Join the future of transportation as an Autonomous Vehicle Operator (Safety Driver) in Miami, FL. You’ll help test and operate self-driving ride-hailing vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable performance on real roads. This is an on-site position for local Miami-area applicants who want to work hands-on with next-generation autonomous driving technology. What You’ll Do Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in real-world environments. Take control when necessary to maintain safety. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report performance or safety issues. Collect data, provide feedback to engineering teams, and support vehicle readiness. Represent the brand with professionalism during all operations. Training Provided (Paid) Paid training in Las Vegas, NV (flights and hotel covered). After training, daily operations resume in Miami, FL . Pay & Schedule $25/hour + up to 7% shift bonus for nights/weekends. Day Shifts: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM or 7:45 AM–4:15 PM. Night Shifts: 2:45 PM–11:15 PM or 3:45 PM–12:15 AM. Rotating 5-day schedules: Wed–Sun, Thu–Mon, Fri–Tue, or Sat–Wed. Requirements Must live in Miami, FL and hold a valid Florida driver’s license. Clean driving record — no DUIs or criminal history. Ability to stay focused and alert for long driving sessions (up to 8 hours/day). Strong communication and basic tech troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications Professional driving experience (rideshare, delivery, or commercial). Background in military, law enforcement, or technical fields.
