FirstLight® Home Care , we're looking for compassionate, dependable professionals to join our team as
Private Duty CNAs . This role goes beyond traditional facility care-you'll provide one-on-one support in the comfort and familiarity of our clients' homes, helping them live life to the fullest.
We only hire the kind of people we would trust with our own families, and when we find them, we make sure they're supported, appreciated, and set up for success. Our CNAs are the heart and soul of what we do-bringing warmth, dignity, and comfort to every home they enter.
Hours of care: 5 am to 7 pm with time and a half paid for all overtime. Location- Winston-Salem, NC
Responsibilities include: - Providing personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance)
- Offering companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being
- Preparing and serving meals according to client needs and preferences
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home environment
- Assisting with errands, transportation, and daily routines
- Following detailed care plans and communicating observations to the office team
- Other duties as assigned to ensure each client receives exceptional care
Qualifications: - Current North Carolina CNA license (required)
- Experience in private duty or in-home care (preferred)
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to make a difference
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine respect for others
- Reliability and professionalism in all interactions
- Ability to follow care instructions accurately and communicate effectively
