Job Description HIRING IMMEDIATELY: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE IN ELGIN, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Elgin, IL. This individual will be responsible for acting as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in customer service or related field. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
- 10 am - 7 pm, Monday - Friday
- Location in Elgin, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process orders, modifications and escalate complaints across several communication channels to do well in the role, a calm approach when customers may be frustrated is best
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, to provide support and information on products or services
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- At least two years related experience preferred
- Experience working with computers, use of two monitors, and ability to learn new software
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM
- Excellent communication skills including active listening
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
