Job Description

Our client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting essential shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate I

Location: Oakdale, PA

Pay Range: $19.00/hr

Shift: Fridays start at 8:30 am, Saturday at 5:00 am, and Sunday at 11:00 am.

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Read customer orders and work orders to determine items to be moved and distributed.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic.
• Complete work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying that loads have arrived on time and in good condition.

What's Needed?

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.
