Job Title: Entry Level Machinist Job Description

• As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the machine remains operational, removing finished parts, and performing quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
• Over time, you will progress to setting up and offsetting your own machines. Initially, your primary task will be to ensure the machine is running efficiently and producing quality parts.
• This position offers openings on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the CNC machine remains operational.
• Remove finished parts from the machine.
• Conduct quality checks on parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Perform basic machine setups and offsets over time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude, including experience with power tools and hand tools.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic shop math and decimals.

Pay

• $19-25/hour+ based off of interview and previous work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.50/hr.
