🔧 Urgent Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic (Trainee)

📍 Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

🕒 Shifts Available:

• 2 Openings on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• 1 Opening on 3rd Shift

Join a dynamic maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity designed for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to grow into a skilled Maintenance Mechanic.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Team with daily operations and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Help install new machinery and collaborate with contractors.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Support co-workers and cross-functional teams as needed.

🔍 Essential Skills

• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Understanding of hydraulics, wiring, and conveyor systems
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus

📈 Additional Qualifications

• Comfortable communicating with suppliers via phone/email
• Experience using Amp/Volt/Ohm meters
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Positive attendance record for cross-training eligibility

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $20.25/hr.
