BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
The core job function for this Paralegal position is to support assigned attorney(s) responsible for defending Chubb's insureds in a variety of litigation including insurance defense, casualty defense, premises, auto, commercial litigation, products liability, and general negligence litigation in State and Federal Courts. The Paralegal must be able to work well independently, but with supervision and direction from the responsible attorney(s). The Paralegal will perform certain case-handling tasks such as preparing discovery demands and responses, drafting basic and complex/substantive motions and pleadings, keeping files organized and up-to-date, handling and organizing case-related documents, assisting in the preparation for trials / hearings / mediations / depositions.

The pay range for the role is $62,800 to $106,800. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found
