Job Title: Immigration Attorney (Family-Based)
Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their growing team. This firm is dedicated to expanding its national family-based immigration services and is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) attorney with experience in EOIR court. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to a collaborative environment and assist clients in navigating the complexities of immigration law while working remotely.
Duties:
- Represent clients in Immigration Court, including travel when required (expenses covered and travel bonuses provided).
- Manage and organize case files efficiently while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing prompt and effective legal assistance.
- Handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
- Work independently as a self-starter while being part of a national immigration team.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other necessary technology for managing cases remotely.
Requirements:
- EOIR registration is required.
- 2-3 years of Immigration experience.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong experience in family-based immigration law and courtroom settings.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain organization in a remote environment.
- Effective communication and client management skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Skills:
- Proven experience in immigration law and courtroom practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote work technology.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
