We are seeking a Licensed Customs Broker to join our in-house customs brokerage team for assisting with the management of customs entries, providing guidance to our team and customers, and ensuring full compliance. Position Summary We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Licensed Customs Broker to provide assistance and support for customs clearance activities. This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and hands-on experience in brokerage operations within a fast-paced transportation environment. You will serve as a compliance expert, handling customs entries, supporting internal teams, and ensuring our clients' freight moves efficiently across borders. Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), PGA (Partner Government Agencies), and relevant trade laws. This position is remote and open to candidates located within the continental United States. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of customs entries for imported freight via truck, air, and ocean. Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), PGA (Partner Government Agencies), and relevant trade laws. Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and customers to gather accurate documentation and resolve entry issues. Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and determine proper duty rates and applicable programs (USMCA, Section 301/232, etc.). Assist in managing compliance audits and reporting requirements. Communicate with CBP and other regulatory agencies as needed on behalf of the company or its clients. Stay updated on trade regulation changes and advise management on potential operational impacts.
