\n Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will operate machinery used in the production of high-precision parts. You'll be responsible for maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety while producing components that meet rigorous specifications. You may operate more than one machine simultaneously and participate in continuous improvement activities.
\n\n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\nOperate and monitor production machines and equipment to ensure proper function and output.
\n\t\n\tPerform machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes as needed.
\n\t\n\tConduct in-process inspections using gauges and measurement tools to maintain part quality.
\n\t\n\tInterpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.
\n\t\n\tEnsure adherence to safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
\n\t\n\tComplete production and quality documentation accurately using paper and electronic systems.
\n\t\n\tPerform daily maintenance tasks including lubrication, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues.
\n\t\n\tAssist with 5S and Kaizen initiatives for workspace efficiency and organization.
\n\t\n\tCollaborate with team members to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
\n\t\n\tTrain and support other operators when necessary.
\n\t\n\tLift and move materials up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 40 lbs), and operate lift equipment as needed.
\n\t\nRequired:
\n\nAt least 6 months of work or volunteer experience (manufacturing preferred)
\n\t\n\tBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions
\n\t\n\tAbility to read and write in English
\n\t\n\tCompetent in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
\n\t\n\tFamiliarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
\n\t\n\tAble to work independently under indirect supervision
\n\t\nPreferred:
\n\n1+ year of experience in machine setup and operation
\n\t\n\tExperience in a manufacturing environment
\n\t\n\tKnowledge of continuous improvement or Lean/Kaizen principles
\n\t\nMust be able to stand for extended periods (entire shift)
\n\t\n\tFrequent walking, reaching, handling small parts, and using hand tools
\n\t\n\tMust be able to lift/move 30 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally
\n\t\n\tMust have color vision and depth perception to read gauges and inspect parts
\n\t\n\tAbility to work 8–10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays
\n\t\nManufacturing floor with exposure to mechanical equipment, noise, dust, and odors
\n\t\n\tNon-climate-controlled environment; may exceed 100°F during summer months
\n\t\n\tUse of appropriate PPE is required (will be provided)
