As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to any situations that may arise. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related events as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
