Our client is a leading clinical research site network with over 30 locations across 9 states, offering excellent opportunities for career growth and development in a mission-driven, entrepreneurial environment. Their Walnut Creek, CA site has supported clinical trials for over 30 years, specializing in Phase I–III research across a variety of therapeutic areas including vaccines, cardiology, and metabolic disorders.
POSITION
This is a unique hybrid position combining clinical data quality oversight with investigational product/pharmacy support. Approximately 70% of the role involves reviewing clinical trial documentation and source data to ensure protocol compliance and accuracy. The remaining 30% supports the site pharmacy, including oversight of study medications and investigational product handling. It's a great opportunity for a pharmacist with strong attention to detail and an interest in research to make a direct impact on clinical trial quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review clinical trial data, source documents, and informed consent forms for accuracy and completeness
Identify discrepancies and collaborate with study teams to resolve issues
Enter and review data within electronic clinical trial systems
Review protocols and investigational product handling requirements
Support inventory management, sterile compounding, and study drug administration
Maintain documentation and logs to ensure compliance with study and regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
PharmD or expected graduation within 3 months
Active Pharmacist license in California (or eligible for licensure soon)
Pharmacy experience preferred but not required (clinical or retail); research experience a plus
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and learning digital platforms used in research
