Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter Technician to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in reading blueprints, working with a variety of materials (steel, copper, PVC, etc.), and ensuring systems meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for piping layouts.

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.

Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using appropriate tools and equipment.

Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure proper system operation and leak prevention.

Perform maintenance and repairs on existing pipe systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to complete installations on time.

Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company standards during all work activities.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system status.

Qualifications

High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent; trade school preferred.

Proven experience as a pipefitter, plumbing technician, or related role.

Strong knowledge of piping materials, installation techniques, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Skilled in using pipefitting tools such as threading machines, cutters, benders, and welding equipment.

Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces).

Certification in pipefitting or welding (preferred).
