The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Care provides skilled nursing care within a clinic setting, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. This role requires proficiency in stress lab and TEE procedures, adherence to mandatory float requirements, and the ability to adapt to various facility needs within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in an ambulatory care setting.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in Cerner.
- Float to other locations (Blue Island, Cottage Grove, Robbins, or Sengstacke) as needed to meet facility requirements.
- Assist with stress lab and TEE procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Stress lab experience.
- TEE experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Local candidates preferred (within 75 miles of the facility).
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float facility; resources are required to float at the facility's discretion.
- Limited parking available at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC).
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Scheduling:
- 5x8s, Monday - Friday.
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shift.
- No call requirements.
- No weekend requirements.
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO, with no more than 2 consecutive days.
- No holiday RTO.
- No RTO the day prior or after a holiday.
- No RTO on weekends.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
