School Based Health Receptionist Float

School Locations: Muskegon County Area

Hackley Community Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers integrated health services to the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding areas. HCC is looking for a School Based Health Receptionist Float to provide clerical support to our health providers. The person in this position will work in multiple locations as needed.

Under the direct supervision of the School Program Manager, the School Receptionist Float is responsible for answering the phone, patient registration and demographic collection. This person will be responsible for updating insurance information, scheduling patient appointments, collecting information for documentation and securing consents. In addition to keeping schedules full, which may mean working patient lists and some outreach efforts as needed.

Job Qualifications:

1. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
2. One to two years' experience working with school aged children.
3. Medical office experience or training preferred.
