This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.

Position Overview
The Security Engineer is responsible for the delivery, operating, and scaling of security capabilities across the organization. This includes supporting technical implementations, working cross-team with infrastructure, system, application, and architecture teams to better the security posture of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop innovative security controls to protect assets across a large and complex environment
• Administer a wide and interesting range of security platforms and systems
• Champion progressive infrastructure security technologies such as ZTNA, Passwordless, etc.
• Implement security orchestration and automation in support of security operations
• Work as a member of the security engineering team and cross functionally to help promote hybrid on-premise and cloud best practices.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in InfoSec, Computer Science, or related field
• 3 years’ experience in Security Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Systems Engineering
• You will need experience working with following platforms and tools:
  o Windows OS / Linux administration
  o Familiarity with authentication and authorization; single-sign-on systems e.g. Kerberos,
  Active Directory, LDAP Experience with compliance regulation requirements
  o Zero Trust Network Architecture solutions (Cloudflare, Zscaler, etc.)
  o Experience with Yubikeys and FIDO2/WebAuthN protocols
  o Data Loss Prevention (Forcepoint, Proofpoint, Symantec, Varonis, etc.)
  o DNS Filtering and Web Proxies (Cisco, Zscaler, etc.)
  o Docker Containers & Kubernetes
  o Email Security (Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.)
  o Endpoint Detection & Response (Microsoft ATP, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, etc.)
  o Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell scripting experience
  o AWS, Azure, and GCP experience (AWS strongly preferred)
  o AWS CloudFormation or Hashicorp Terraform infrastructure as code (IaC)

Physical requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple sobware programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The pay range for this position is $76k - $142k/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
