Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with finance and accounting processes such as month-end/year-end close. This role will also prepare analyses for audits and required financial statements.  This individual should be detail-oriented, eager to take ownership of his or her areas of responsibility, and have excellent communication skills to work with the finance team as well as cross-departmentally.

• $90-110k 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month-end/year-end close process including account reconciliations, reporting, flux analysis, etc.
• Analyze contracts and sales agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Prepare intercompany analysis and support with international entity statutory audits and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly comprehensive financial analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policies, monitoring, and reconciliation activities according to management requirements.
• Work with the finance team to ensure reporting requirements are completed timely and accurately.
• Strong Knowledge of US GAAP
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to identify and improve business processes across the organization.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and project as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant accounting field
• Advanced understanding of GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience using advanced formulas
• CPA qualification is a plus but not required
