Senior Corporate Accountant - Boston MA - Hedge Fund Our team is working with a leading credit fund based in Boston looking to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant to their Management Company reporting team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the company's day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger. This role is a full time hybrid position (3 days in the office & 2 days at home) position that will offer up to $120K base, bonus & strong benefits. Responsibilities: Assist with the company's day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the company's accounting system. Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Adhere to accounting policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to analyze and report on financial performance. Identify and implement financial statement close and reporting process improvements. Prepare ad-hoc materials as requested by the VP of Finance.
