Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position in Baltimore, MD, serving two elementary schools within the K-12 setting. This role involves working with students from PreK through 5th grade to support speech and language development in a structured educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language support and therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Collaborate with educators and related staff to enhance student communication skills.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to provide services across two school locations:
  • Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week)
  • Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week)
• Commitment to supporting student growth and learning.

Position details:

• Contract duration: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with possible extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026.
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
• On-site presence required.
