The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for new hire and incumbent employees. Responsibilities Identify training needs through documentation, interviews with employees, and consultation with leadership. Facilitate training programs that address specific business needs. Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as classroom or hands-on methods to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, and environmental impacts. Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training meets business needs and improves performance. Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Identify and select on-the-job trainers within the operation to optimize training effectiveness. Drive company values and philosophy through all training and development activities. Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management. Foster a learning environment to facilitate individual and group training sessions Select and manage resources, including working with both internal and external resources to develop and deliver training. Utilize technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training. Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status. Partner with HR and Operations to plan annual training calendar, updating as needed to meet business objectives. Will perform other duties as assigned to support the training function of the business. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Minimum three (3) years of experience in training and development. Experience in leadership roles, preferred. Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Track record in developing and executing training programs, preferred. Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills. Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
