Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Three 12-hour shifts per week schedule
\n• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• Weekend hours as required by facility
\n• No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census
\n• Must be available until end of regular scheduled shift for possible admits
\n• Float requirements to NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes
\n• Patient ratios determined by acuity: Vented/critical patients 1:1, ICU status 2:1, floor status 3:1
\n• Care for respiratory, surgical, trauma/burn, neurosurgery, sepsis, hematology/oncology, and endocrinology patients
\n• Work with 12-bed unit using EPIC electronic medical records
\n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS from AHA only, TNCC or PCAR
\n• Preferred certification: ENPC
\n• Minimum 1 year PICU experience post-orientation required
\n• Must be ventilator competent with experience reflected on resume
\n• Current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure required
\n• Dress code: Black scrubs or pediatric appropriate t-shirt with black scrub pants
\n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
\n• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and maintain patient confidentiality
\n• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of shift, lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs
