Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN with a NY license, EPIC experience, and at least 2 years of recent PICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift position with scheduled hours from 07:00 to 19:30
• Care is provided for pediatric intensive care patients
• Requires use of EPIC EMR system with prior experience required
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Competency testing for ICU is required with two attempts to pass
• No local candidates residing in the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• More than 3 call outs within 13 weeks will lead to contract termination, and missed shifts must be made up within 6 weeks
• Request all desired time off (RTO) at time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed and candidates may only apply to one position at a time

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA or RQI certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Pediatric ICU nursing
• EPIC EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• Medical documentation required for flu exemptions; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
