Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a LA or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 7p-7a, with rotating weekends
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Floating may be required to pediatric and neonatal ICU units if census is low
• Uses Allscripts/Paragon EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must wear navy blue scrubs while on duty
• Expect to work some holidays according to assignment schedule
• Requests for time off should be minimal, especially within the first two weeks or for full calendar weeks
• Online learning modules are required and completed through HealthStream
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active LA State or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience preferred
• References from two previous supervisors required for consideration
• First-time travelers are accepted
