Job Details
- Mental Health Coordinator position to plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
- Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.
Additional Details
- Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on review of records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provides treatment by developing, implementing and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
- Documents treatment and evaluation activities in health care record for each person seen.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities for individuals in caseload.
- Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions to address needs of inmates.
