ABOUT US:
Sea Salt, LLC is a leading seafood wholesale company dedicated to providing high-quality, fresh products to restaurants, retailers, and distributors. We pride ourselves on maintaining rigorous standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. We are currently seeking an experienced Night Shift Production Manager to oversee our overnight operations and ensure smooth, timely processing.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Night Shift Production Manager will supervise all production activities during night shift operations. This role ensures product quality, staff performance, safety compliance, and efficient workflow to meet delivery timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee nightly production operations, including processing, packaging, and distribution of seafood products.
Supervise and support production team members to meet productivity and quality goals.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards at all times.
Coordinate with logistics and day shift management for smooth shift transitions.
Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging, and supplies; communicate needs to purchasing and warehouse teams.
Train, schedule, and evaluate production staff; manage attendance and performance issues.
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of production output, quality checks, and shift reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous supervisory or management experience in seafood, manufacturing, or a similar environment required.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
Comfortable working overnight shifts and weekends/holidays as needed.
Ability to create and monitor schedules to ensure orders get packed and delivered accordingly.
