Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish)

First Shift

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for office/clinic visits.
• Prepare rooms with required materials for visits.
• Room patients and assist with their needs.
• Work alongside one provider with an additional Medical Assistant.
• Take vitals, weight, height, blood pressure, and medical history.
• Collaborate with patients' families or caregivers for information collection.
• Enter all data into the EMR system.
• Schedule follow-ups as needed.
• Occasionally float to another location if short-staffed, with prior notification.
• Be flexible with hours, staying later if necessary to assist providers.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Proficiency in medical assisting and immediate care.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to give reports and debrief to medical professionals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Externship or work experience in immediate care or urgent care.
• Entry-level Medical Assistants right out of schooling/certification will be considered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
