Pharmacy Technician at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Pharmacy Technician supports clinical pharmacists by organizing clinical information and assisting with medication reconciliation in a pharmacotherapy clinic setting. This role requires a Washington Pharmacy Technician License and at least one year of relevant experience. The position offers part-time day shifts with opportunities for full-time hours, benefits, and a supportive, inclusive healthcare environment at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacotherapy Clinic at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital

Schedule: 32 hours with the opportunity to work full time up to 40 hours weekly, 8-hour Day Shift, Monday through Friday

Under the direction of the Clinical Pharmacist, the Clinical Pharmacy Technician will perform assigned tasks necessary to support comprehensive clinical pharmacy services provided by the Clinical Pharmacists. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician will be organizing and collecting clinical information for the clinical pharmacy appointments and medication reconciliation process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
  • 1 year of sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of the pharmaceutical field; usually interpreted as one year of applicable experience.
