\n\nJob Details:
\n• Night shifts with every other weekend requirement
\n• Must work Christmas and New Year holidays
\n• Patient ratios of 1:3 for standard acuity, 1:4 for low acuity patients
\n• Work in 56-bed emergency department with additional hall beds bringing capacity to 60-70 beds
\n• Fast track area with 6 beds available
\n• Separate triage area with 5 beds (travelers can take triage test and may be assigned)
\n• 18 designated holding beds for inpatients awaiting placement
\n• Locked psychiatric hall with 6 private treatment rooms
\n• Handle approximately 170-200 patients per day
\n• Common diagnoses include cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, AMS, respiratory, abdominal pain, and mental health cases
\n• Minimum 1 year experience required in larger trauma settings
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS
\n• Epic EMR system used
\n• No floating requirements or call/standby requirements
\n• Any professional colors allowed for scrubs
\n• 1-day compliance orientation (8-10 hours) plus 1-day department orientation (12 hours)
\n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
